J. Michael Adelberg, MD, FAEP – President

Dr. Adelberg is highly experienced in the management of municipal/county and public Urgent Care clinics. As the President of TCMAi and its affiliates, Dr. Adelberg is actively involved in all aspects of the medical practice by setting the direction and standards for health, wellness, and preventive care offered by TCMAi. He is an airline transport pilot and operates the company aircraft in order to provide quick response to our regional client facilities.

Dr. Adelberg has owned and operated Stuart Urgent Care and Family Practice Clinic in Jensen Beach, FL, for over 10 years. This clinic is one of the few nationally certified urgent care facilities operating on the Treasure Coast. Dr. Adelberg is also the Medical Director for Okeechobee County Fire Rescue, Okeechobee City Fire Department and the All County Medical Ambulance Service. He provided the emergency physician staffing for Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL, for nine years and was Emergency Department Medical Director for 14 years. Dr. Adelberg also practiced emergency medicine and occupational medicine in the city of Milwaukee from 1993 to 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan – St. Joseph Campus and St. Francis Hospital.

Dr. Adelberg is a board certified emergency physician with almost 60,000 hours of emergency department experience. He has been practicing medicine for over twenty-five years. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Medical College of Ohio in 1987. His certifications include Emergency Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Opiate Treatment Certification. Dr. Adelberg is licensed in nine states and in the Province of Ontario, Canada.



Dr. Michael Kalter, M.D. – Full-Time Physician

My name is Dr. Michael Kalter. I was originally born and raised in Chicago, having lived in Florida since 1987. I am currently married with 2 children. My educational background was mostly at the University of Illinois where I studied Undergraduate (B.S. Biology and Psychology), Graduate (M.S. Behavioral Physiology) and for Medical School (M.D.). I completed a residency program at Marshfield Clinic, an affiliate of the University of Wisconsin, training in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine in 1987.

A brief summary of my work as a physician includes having worked over 40 years in EMS/medical care. I first started as an EMT working ambulance in the projects in Chicago in 1976. Along with my medical background, I have sought and worked in various areas of Research and Development; always trying to learn and be on the cutting edge of new technology and opportunities to create.

I have been a physician for more than 32 years, having worked in Florida since 1988. My credentials include my experience as an Emergency Physician for a total of 16 years (1988-2001 in Florida at Jupiter Medical Center) where I also functioned as the EMS Director for Northern Palm Beach County. I began work as a Primary Care physician following the birth of my son in Internal Medicine for 15 years. As my children grew older and medicine began to change I again returned to Urgent Care which I had done intermittently in the past, but now full-time since 2016.  Presently, I am the full-time physician for Okeechobee Urgent Care.

Dr. Peddicord, M.D. – Full-Time Physician

Dr. Peddicord has been practising for over 20 years in the state of Florida. He has his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and is a board-certified Family Practitioner. In his spare time he enjoys reading, boating and fishing.

Elizabeth Ellis – Clinical Supervisor

Elizabeth Ellis is the Clinical Supervisor for Stuart Urgent Care, where she has been since graduating from Indian River States College in 2008.  She is a Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Phlebotomist, DOT and Bat certified collector and staff trainer for Stuart Urgent Care.

Marcia Adelberg – Operations Controller

Marcia brings over 30 years of financial experience to TCMAi. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master of Social Work, and is a certified Professional Project Manager (PMP). She began her career as a financial auditor for Arthur Andersen before holding various staff accounting positions in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors. Marcia has developed and implemented financial and operating policies and procedures. She has also worked extensively implementing enterprise financial systems in many industries including FDA regulated environments. Marcia oversees all operations and finances of TCMAi.

Kelly Smith – Sr. Director, Sales & Marketing

Kelly is responsible for marketing programs, brand management, corporate sponsorships, and business development at TCMAi. With more than 20 years of successful experience in strategic business development and marketing, Kelly specializes in helping companies expand their reach, while meeting customer and market demands.
